The Mariposario is open all day to guests. Meander through the lush neo-tropical butterfly garden and adjacent jungle arboretum. You will encounter a treasure trove of flowers, butterflies, birds, and wildlife to photograph, paint, or simply enjoy! Be sure to take advantage of our proximity to the upper falls (just a short hike from the house). Finally after a fun-filled day in the tropical heat prepare for la noche with a relaxing shower or short siesta in your air conditioned room.
Enjoy breakfast on our sunny balcony every morning 7-9 am. Start your day with French pressed Costa Rican coffee, fresh juice, or tea. Take pleasure in the rotating daily menu, from “comida tipica” with gallo pinto, to banana pancakes with bacon or veggie sausage.
